Moneris Solutions

Moneris Solutions process in excess of 2.5 billion credit and debit card transactions per year for more than 350,000 merchants located across North America. They are a joint investment between BMO Bank of Montreal (including Harris Bank) and RBC Royal Bank and were launched in December 2000.

Moneris Solutions have an e-commerce module called eSELECTplus with two main methods of integrating with your online business system. There is an application program interface (API) for giving you total control over your entire online shopping process via your own programs, or their Secure Payment Page option, which is hosted by Moneris and perfect for online stores.

The Secure Payment Page option re-directs your customer seamlessly to a secure payment page where they pay for their goods. With this system, there is no need to purchase an SSL certificate as all cardholder information is securely captured and protected by Moneris.

There are many advantages to this system, for instance when your customer places an order, you automatically receive an email enabling you to fulfill the order quickly.
Cardholder payment information security is maintained through the hosted payment page. eSELECTplus supports many available eFraud tools such as MasterCard SecureCode, Verified by Visa, Card Validation Value (CVV) and Address Verification Service (AVS).

Fee structures are not published on the Moneris website so it can only be assumed that this information is only divulged upon sign-up, or by contacting the company direct with a view to signing up with them.
